The Mountaineers will enter this contest aiming to make a strong impression in a tournament that continues to provide an important platform for Zimbabwe’s women cricketers. Their opponents, Tuskers, arrive with the confidence of being the defending champions after winning the previous edition. That success added their name to a roll of honour previously dominated by Eagles, who won the inaugural tournament in 2022 and successfully retained the title in 2023.

Teams must adapt quickly, manage their resources carefully, and produce decisive performances in both phases of the innings. For the Mountaineers, the challenge will be to disrupt a Tuskers side familiar with the pressure of knockout-style domestic cricket, while Tuskers will look to underline their status as the team to beat.
