Players to watch out:

Hollie Armitage

The Durham captain has been the main batter for her side this season. Armitage has scored 349 runs in nine innings at an average of 38.77 and a strike rate of 87.90. She has scored one century and three fifties, making her Durham’s leading run-scorer in the tournament. Durham will once again depend on her to provide a strong start and lead from the front.

Katie Levick

The experienced leg-spinner has been one of Durham’s best bowlers this season. Levick has taken 15 wickets in nine matches, including excellent figures of 6/37, while maintaining an economy rate of 4.99. Jess Jonassen

The Australian all-rounder has been Yorkshire’s best performer this season. Jonassen is the leading run-scorer in the tournament with 426 runs in seven innings at an average of 60.85, including three centuries and one fifty. She has also taken 18 wickets at an average of 11.83 and an economy rate of 3.61. Her performances with both bat and ball have been crucial for Yorkshire.

Claudie Cooper

Cooper has been one of Yorkshire’s most reliable bowlers this season. She has taken 13 wickets in eight matches at an average of 22.46 and an economy rate of 4.94. Her ability to bowl tight spells and break partnerships could be very important against Durham’s batting line-up.

Pitch:

The Riverside Ground usually offers something for both batters and bowlers. Fast bowlers can get movement and bounce with the new ball, especially under cloudy skies. Once the batters settle in, scoring becomes easier and the pitch generally becomes better for batting. Spinners may also get some help later in the innings, making it a balanced surface overall.

Weather:

The weather is expected to stay mostly cloudy throughout the day, with temperatures between 13°C and 20°C. Rain is unlikely to affect the match, although there could be some cloudy spells during the afternoon. Winds of around 25–30 km/h may help the fast bowlers early in the game.

Fantasy Playing XI:

Bess Heath, Hollie Armitage, Sterre Kalis, Jess Jonassen, Katherine Fraser, Mady Villiers, Mia Rogers, Katie Levick, Lauren Filer, Claudie Cooper, Rachel Slater
