Nadine de Klerk is one of the most valuable all-rounders in South African women’s cricket. She is known for her powerful batting, useful medium-pace bowling, and ability to perform in important matches. Over the years, she has become a key player for South Africa across all formats.

Nadine played field hockey and took up javelin growing up. However, after receiving her first South Africa call-up at the age of 17, she decided to focus fully on cricket.

Nadine de Klerk made her T20I debut for South Africa against India on 13 February 2018.

So far, she has played 81 T20I matches and scored 756 runs and her highest score in the format is 44 not out. She has often played important lower-order innings and helped South Africa finish strongly in T20 matches.

With the ball, Nadine has taken 59 wickets in T20Is, and her best bowling figures are 3/7. Her pace bowling gives South Africa an important option in the middle overs and at the end of the innings.

She has also taken 20 catches in WT20I cricket, showing her value as a fielder.

Nadine has enjoyed success in several major T20 leagues around the world.

In the Women’s Premier League, she has played for Royal Challengers Bengaluru. For RCB, she scored 134 runs and picked up 18 wickets in 10 matches, including best bowling figures of 4/22.

She has also represented Brisbane Heat in the Women’s Big Bash League and Oval Invincibles in The Hundred. Her ability to contribute in all areas of the game has made her a valuable player in franchise cricket.

Before the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, Nadine continued to play an important role for South Africa. During the T20I series against India in April 2026, she picked up wickets in three matches, including figures of 2/26 in Benoni.

Earlier in the 2025 ODI World Cup, she played one of the best innings of her career, scoring an unbeaten 84 against India to guide South Africa to a memorable victory.
