On winning the toss, Renegades skipper asked Heat to bat first. The in-form player Mooney got out early for 9 and Allrounder Johnson too failed. The senior pro-Jess Jonasesen was the one who came to assist for Heat as she scored an all-important half-century because of which Heat confirmed a spot in Knockout. She ended up scoring 63 and Green with 31 was the second-best. With the ball spinners Wareham, Strano and Brown chipped in with wickets.
The heat ended up on 153 for 5 in 20 overs.

Chasing the score of 154, except Wyatt, everyone got starts but failed to convert them into big. All credits to the disciplined bowling from Jonassen and co. Who made batters life tough. For renegades, it was in-form Wyatt who scored 40 odd runs but failed to convert them into big. In the end, brown tried her best with a cameo of 20 plus runs but sadly Renegades were short by 6 runs.

Renegades ended up at 147 for 9 in 20 overs.

Brief Scores: Heat 153 for 5 ( Jonassen 63* & Wareham 2 for 27) defeated Renegades 147 for 9 in 20 overs ( Wyatt 40 & Johnson 2 for 30) by 6 runs.
