The last T20I between Pakistan women and Bangladesh, women will be played on the 30th of October 2019. In the second T20I of the series, the Pakistan women put on board a target of 167 runs after they were put in to bat first. With the majority of the runs being scored by the top three batters. Javeria Khan scored 52 runs from 44 balls and Bismah Maroof scored 70 runs from 50 balls. Bismah Maroof remained Unbeaten on 70 and was the backbone of Pakistan’s total. Jahanara Alam was the pick of the bowlers for Bangladesh picking up 2 wickets while giving away 27 runs from her quota of four overs.

Bangladesh in reply to Pakistan’s total of 167. The Bangladesh team lost 3 early wickets upfront, losing the important wicket of Rumana Ahmed to a runout, where the score read 25 for three. After that, the chase was always going to be tall, even after a good resurrection act from Sanjida Islam (45 runs from 32 balls) and Nigar Sultana (21 runs from 21 balls). Sadia Iqbal bowled her four overs giving away 19 runs and picked up 3 wickets, which included important wickets of Sadai Iqbal and Nigar Sultana.

The third match will be the last opportunity for the Bangladesh women’s team to register a win in the shortest format and look to the prospect of improving now that will be part of the Women’s T20 World cup in less than five months from now. The Pakistan team would want to continue with their impressive performance and make sure that they don’t lose the final game of the series.

The weather forecast for the matchday is a bit cloudy in the morning session with the sun coming out later on as the game progresses and the temperature is expected to hover around 23⁰ celsius. The pitch will be good for batting with the seamers getting some movement early on in the innings.
