Ellyse Perry is 27 runs away from 2000 T20I runs

Ellyse Perry, one of Australia’s most iconic all-rounders, is also approaching a major achievement. With 1973 T20I runs, she is only 27 runs away from becoming the fourth Australian woman to cross the 2000-run threshold in the format. Having played 158 T20Is, Perry ranks as Australia’s second most-capped player, trailing only Healy.

Beth Mooney is 99 runs away from 3000 T20I runs

Beth Mooney, fresh off her unbeaten 43 in Australia’s opening game against Sri Lanka, has amassed 2901 T20I runs. With a career-best of 117 not out, Mooney is just 99 runs away from joining the exclusive 3000-run club in T20Is.

Kim Garth is 2 wickets away from 100 international wickets

Meanwhile, Kim Garth is on the verge of a special milestone of her own. The fast bowler, who has played for both Ireland and Australia, needs just 2 more wickets to complete 100 international wickets, having taken 65 wickets for Ireland and 33 for Australia.

Tahlia McGrath, Australia’s vice-captain, is also within touching distance of a milestone. On New Zealand’s side, veteran Suzie Bates continues to dominate T20I cricket. With 4461 runs from 166 matches, Bates remains the highest run-scorer in T20Is—male or female. She is just 39 runs away from becoming the first cricketer in history to surpass 4500 T20I runs. Bates put in a solid performance against India in New Zealand’s opening game, scoring 27 off 24 balls.

Brooke Halliday is 28 runs away from 1000 international runs

Brooke Halliday, a key middle-order player for New Zealand, is nearing the 1000-run milestone in international cricket. She currently has 972 runs across formats, with 661 ODI runs and 311 T20I runs, needing just 28 more to reach 1000 international runs.

Leigh Kasperek is 6 wickets away from 150 international wickets

New Zealand’s experienced spinner Leigh Kasperek will also be a pivotal figure, especially on the slower UAE pitches. With 65 ODI wickets and 79 T20I wickets to her name, Kasperek is only 6 wickets away from reaching 150 international wickets. Despite being left out of the playing XI against India, her vast experience will make her a crucial asset in this clash.
