England Women are on tour to Ireland for a limited-overs series. The England Women’s tour of Ireland kicked off on 7th September with a three-match ODI series in Belfast, followed by two T20Is in Dublin. England created history by recording their highest ODI victory by a huge margin of 275 runs as Ireland was bowled out for 45 while chasing a total of 321 given by England, thereby taking an unassailable 20 lead in the three-match ODI series. The Kate Cross led England side elected to bat first, with the visitors posting a formidable total of 320 thanks to Tammy Beaumont’s unbeaten 150 off 139 balls well supported by a half-century from Freya Kemp. In response, the Irish side struggled right from the beginning, losing their wickets in the early overs as Kate Cross struck quickly and picked up three wickets. Lauren Filer also picked up three wickets and Freya Kemp contributed two to take her tally to two. The hosts were bundled out for 45 as the bowlers of England seemed on top of their game. Thus, England won the match by 275 runs in what was the second successive ODI in the three-match series.
