Oval Invincibles’ Mady Villiers pulled off an astonishing catch in the ongoing Women’s Hundred, leaving fans in awe. The moment came during the Oval Invincibles’ clash against the Trent Rockets, where Villiers took a brilliant one-handed catch off Marizanne Kapp’s bowling.

The Oval Invincibles chose to field first in the 31st match of the Women’s Hundred, hosting the Trent Rockets. The visitors struggled early on, with Marizanne Kapp making an impact by taking two wickets in the second set and dismissing both openers. Grace Scrivens was out on the first ball of the second set, but Bryony Smith’s dismissal on the third ball was particularly notable.

Smith attempted a lofted shot over mid-wicket, aiming to clear the fielders, but misconnected. Mady Villiers, stationed at short mid-wicket, made a remarkable one-handed catch, diving to her left and securing the ball with impressive skill.

This catch was nothing short of spectacular. The responses on social media were enthusiastic, with many calling it the ‘Catch of the Tournament’ and referring to her as ‘Mady “Flying” Villiers.’
