The nominees for this year’s award showcase exceptional talent and dedication to the sport. They are:
Iqra Sahar
A right-arm medium bowler, Iqra Sahar has made significant impact in the 2023-24 season. In 8 matches, Sahar claimed an impressive 14 wickets, with standout figures of 3/6 against Nepal during the Women’s T20 Quadrangular Series held in Hong Kong. Her performance in that match earned her the Player of the Match accolade. Notably, Sahar also achieved 3 three-wicket hauls throughout the season, underlining her consistency with the ball.
Maryam Bibi
All-rounder Maryam Bibi had an exceptional season. Across 8 matches and 6 innings, Bibi took 5 wickets, with her best bowling figures of 3/4 coming against the Maldives in the Asian Cricket Council Women’s Premier Cup in February 2024.
