In the fourth match of the Women’s Hundred, played between Northern Superchargers and Trent Rockets, Alana King bowled a sensational delivery against the Superchargers’ side, which was her first ball of the fourth edition of the Women’s Hundred. Following her spectacular delivery, fans reacted, suggesting that it might potentially be the ball of the tournament.

Northern Superchargers were chasing a target of 124, and it was during the sixth set that Alana King was handed the ball. The leg spinner didn’t disappoint. Off her first ball, King bowled a full-length delivery just outside the leg that spun out to hit the top of off to Bess Heath, who tried to defend the ball but didn’t connect and was bowled. It was a delivery that a leg spinner can only dream of. The delivery by Alana King to Heath reminded everyone of ‘the Ball of the Century.’ The delivery evoked memories of the legendary Shane Warne. The leg spinner finished with figures of 2 for 17 and received the Player of the Match award in the Rockets’ 20-run victory over the Chargers.
