Neetu David

Neetu David is a 45 years old former Indian cricketer. She was a left-arm orthodox spinner.  She started her career by playing in a Test match against New Zealand in 1995. Neetu David held the record for the best bowling figures in women’s Test cricket, 8 for 53, until 2014. She is one of the dangerous wicket-takers in women’s Test cricket for India. After retiring from cricket, Neetu David has worked as a coach and mentor, sharing her knowledge and experience with aspiring cricketers.

Anjum Chopra

One of the powerful female cricketers is 46 years old Anjum Chopra. She did a lot for the Indian Cricket team. Anjum Chopra maintained the captaincy role from 2002 to 2005. Under her leadership, India achieved several notable victories. She started her career by playing in an ODI match against New Zealand in 1995. She was known for her solid technique, sound footwork, and ability to build innings. She scored over 2,000 runs in ODIs, including a top score of 100 not out against England in 2002. After retiring from cricket, Anjum Chopra has worked as a cricket commentator and analyst, providing expert insights and analysis during cricket broadcasts.

Jemimah Rodrigues

An Indian cricketer who is only 22 years old, known for her stylish batting and versatility in playing different formats of the game. She started her career by playing in a T20I match against South Africa in 2018. She is known for her aggressive stroke play and ability to score runs quickly. Jemimah possesses a wide range of shots and can adapt to different situations in the game. Jemimah Rodrigues became the youngest Indian woman to score a double century in a one-day match. She achieved this feat at the age of 17 while playing for Mumbai against Saurashtra in 2017.

Deepti Sharma is a left-handed batswoman and an off-spin bowler. She started her career by playing in an ODI match against Ireland in 2017.  She is known for her solid technique and the ability to build innings. Deepti can play both attacking and anchor roles depending on the situation. Her off-spin bowling provides a valuable spin option for the Indian team. She maintains accuracy and varies her pace to trouble the batswomen. Deepti Sharma has played several crucial innings and taken important wickets throughout her career. She has the distinction of scoring the highest individual score by an Indian woman in ODIs, with an unbeaten 188 against Ireland in 2017.

Shafali Verma

The young woman is a 19 years old rising star. Shafali Verma is a right-handed opening batswoman. She started her career by playing in a T20I match against South Africa on September 24, 2019. Shefali has represented India in T20Is. She is known for her attacking approach and powerful hitting. Shefali has the ability to score quick runs and dominate the opposition bowlers. She has played several impactful innings in her short career. To score a half-century in international cricket is a great achievement, which Shafali did score at the age of 15. She is the only cricketer to have this honour.

She started her career in 2014, Shikha is one of the crucial players for the Indian women’s cricket team. With her ability to generate swing and seam movement, she poses a constant threat to opposition batswomen.  Shikha has the ability to generate good pace and accuracy while maintaining control over her line and length. She received the prestigious Arjuna Award in 2020 for her contributions to Indian cricket.

Smriti Mandhana

Smriti Mandhana is a 26 years old left-handed opening batswoman. She started her career by playing in an ODI match against Bangladesh in 2013. She is known for her elegant stroke play and ability to time the ball well. Smriti has a wide range of shots and can score runs all around the ground. In a Women’s World Cup match, Smriti Mandhana is the first female person to score a century with a brilliant knock of 106 against the West Indies in the 2017 ICC Women’s World Cup. She was awarded the prestigious Arjuna Award in 2018.

Harmanpreet Kaur

Harmanpreet Kaur is an Indian cricketer who is renowned for her aggressive batting style and powerful hitting. She is a 33 years old right-handed batswoman and occasional right-arm off-break bowler. She started her career by playing a T20I match against Bangladesh on March 5, 2009. Harmanpreet Kaur is best known for her scintillating knock of 171 runs off just 115 balls in the semi-final of the 2017 ICC Women’s World Cup against Australia. Her innings played a pivotal role in securing India’s place in the final. Harmanpreet has a wide range of shots and can accelerate the scoring rate rapidly. 

Jhulan Goswami

Jhulan Goswami is known as one of the finest fast bowlers in women’s cricket. She is a 41 years old crickter. Her first international career started in an ODI match against England on January 6, 2002. Jhulan has represented India in both ODIs and T20Is. With her tall stature and consistent line and length, Jhulan has troubled many top batswomen around the world. Jhulan Goswami holds several records in women’s cricket, including being the leading wicket-taker in women’s ODIs. She became the first female cricketer to reach 200 wickets in ODIs.

Veda Krishnamurthy

The undaunted 31 years old right handed woman started her career as a cricketer at the age of 18. Veda has represented India in both ODIs and Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). She is known for her aggressive batting style and ability to score quick runs. Veda Krishnamurthy has played several crucial innings for India, including a match-winning knock of 70 runs against Pakistan in the 2018 Women’s T20 Asia Cup final. Veda Krishnamurthy played 41 WODI matches and scored 745 runs in 37 Innings.  played 63 WT20 matches and scored 760 runs in 51 Innings. Veda continues to be an important part of the national team’s setup, showcasing her skills and passion for the sport.
