Players to watch

Hayley Matthews: 

The captain of West Indies is a star all-rounder. She is a right-handed opening batter and right-arm off-spinner. In her 74 T20Is, she has muscled 1326 runs, including six half-centuries and a century. She has also scalped 72 wickets, including three four-wicket hauls.

Stafanie Taylor: 

The former captain of West Indies has a wealth of experience, having played 111 T20Is. She is a prolific right-handed batter with 3121 runs, including 21 half-centuries. She can also offer bowling services with her off-spin and has 98 T20I wickets.

Sune Luus: 

The captain of South Africa top-scored for her side in the last match against India. The right-handed middle-order batter mustered 29 off 30, including three boundaries. She also rolled her arm over to bowl a couple of overs of leg spin and conceded 15 runs.

Nonkululeko Mlaba: 

The wily left-arm spinner of South Africa opened the bowling with Marizanne Kapp in her last outing against India. She was the most successful bowler for her side, claiming 15/2 in three overs. Besides being the most successful bowler, she was the most economical one.

Pitch

It will be the second game of the tournament at this venue. The last fixture saw 267 runs being scored. 15 wickets fell in the process. The wicket seems to be on the slower side, making it difficult for the batters to hit through the line. Spinners were more successful than their fast-bowling counterparts.
