Players to watch out for
Veronica Vasquez:
The captain of Argentina will be a player to watch out for going into this game. The right hand opening bat top scored with 19. She was the only batter to score in double digits in the previous encounter against Canada.
Tamara Basile:
The right arm quick had a decent outing against Canada in the first match. She picked up 1-19 in her three overs. She was one of the two wicket-takers for Argentina.
Renata de Sousa:
The right-hand middle order bat was the highest run-getter for Brazil in the first match played against the United States. She scored 13 runs and was the lone batter to score more than 10 runs in the Brazil batting innings. The right arm quick also picked up 1-11 in her four overs.
Nicole Monteiro:
The right arm seamer, who opened the bowling for Brazil scalped 1-13 in her four overs. She was the only bowler to bowl a maiden over in Brazil’s bowling innings.
