During the chase, the Capitals maintained a firm grip on the game, with the Warriorz fielding lapses and dropped catches contributing to their struggles. Annabel Sutherland – 2/26(4) & 41*(35)

Annabel Sutherland had a match-winning impact with both ball and bat, finishing with 2/26 and later guiding the Capitals to victory with an unbeaten 41 off 35 balls. She dismissed both UP openers, first removing Dinesh Vrinda with a miss hit pull and then Kiran Navgire with a well-directed short ball.

With the bat, Sutherland anchored the chase after Meg Lanning’s dismissal, forging a 48-run stand with Marizanne Kapp. Dropped on 22 by Sophie Ecclestone, she capitalized, striking two crucial fours in the final over when 10 were needed off 5, sealing the win for DC and winning the Player of the Match.

Marizanne Kapp – 1/30(4) & 29*(17)

Marizanne Kapp played a vital all-round role in Capitals win, taking 1 wicket for 30 runs in her four overs and finishing unbeaten on 29 off 17 balls. She claimed the key wicket of Shweta Sehrawat with a well-disguised off-cutter, forcing a mistimed shot to deep midwicket.

On the batting front, Kapp provided the finishing touch, striking four boundaries, including two powerful hits off Sophie Ecclestone in the 18th over.
