Players to watch out:

Samara Ramnath

The 16-year-old all-rounder, while she didn’t find much success with the bat last season, was in notable form with the ball. However, Samara this season has registered scores of 28(53), 32(73), and 29(53), while also returning figures of 1/38 (9), 3/38 (9), and 3/24 (6.0). It’ll be hoped she continues with this all-round form, leading the charts.

LeeAnn Kirby

The 36-year-old all-rounder struggled with both bat and ball last summer; however, she has been in notable form this edition. LeeAnn, while having only taken a wicket, has been economical and outstanding batting lower down the order with the tailenders, registering scores of 59(40), 26(26), and 48(56). She’ll be banked upon for the goods.

Shemaine Campbelle

The 31-year-old batter hasn’t been at her best for a while now in both domestic and international cricket but has managed a return to form this season following a quiet start. Shemaine, while departed for 13 in the opener, followed up with scores of 42 and 53. The team will count on her to continue with this form, contributing significantly to the scoring.

Nyia Latchman

The 19-year-old leg-spinner picked up only 3 wickets from a couple of games last edition. However, Nyia has emerged as a standout for the team this edition, finishing with successive figures of 3/27 (8), 2/38 (7), and 2/19 (10). It’ll be expected of the spinner to carry forward this momentum, continuing to lead the wickets tally.

Pitch:

The wicket at Conaree Sports Club is expected to favor the batters; however, there will also be enough in it for the bowlers to make an impact. In the early stages of the game, pacers are likely to benefit from movement, while spinners will play a crucial role in the middle overs.

Weather:

It will be a pleasant day to be at the Conaree Cricket Centre for some cricket with partly cloudy skies and a low chance of rain. The temperature is forecasted to hover in the late-20s, with light winds and a humidity level of 70%.
