Mumbai Indians win a thriller, making the way even more difficult for Gujarat Giants ahead in WPL 2024. In the 16th match between Gujarat Giants and Mumbai Indians at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, the game turned out to be a record-breaking run chase. To start with Beth Mooney elected to bat 1st after winning the toss. Gujarat Giants got off to a great start scoring 52 runs in the power play at the loss of 1 wicket. At the end of the 1st innings, Gujarat Giants scored 190 runs at a loss of 7 wickets, which would also be the highest target ever to chase in WPL.
