Bio:
Tarannum Pathan, the all-rounder hailing from Baroda, was roped in by the Gujarat Giants in the auction ahead of the 2024 edition of the WPL for a price of INR 10 Lakhs.
The all-rounder has a lot of domestic experience and will be hoping to put it to good use in this season of the WPL. In domestic T20 tournaments in the previous year, which included the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy 2023 and the Senior Women’s Inter-Zonal Trophy 2023, she had tremendous success. She featured in 9 games and made crucial contributions with the bat as well as the ball. In 9 games she scored 175 runs at an average of 19.40 and picked up 9 wickets at an average of 14.33.
The 2024 WPL season will be her first and she will be hoping to get a chance to prove her mettle at a bigger stage. A stage like the WPL will be a great exposure for Tarannum Patham and it will be an additional arrow in her quiver when she returns to the domestic circuit.
