Bio:
Richa Ghosh an Indian cricketer burst onto the scene at a young age in January 2020 at just 16 she earned a spot in India’s squad for the ICC Women’s t20 World Cup and the Australia Women’s bilateral series, her WT20I debut came shortly after in the final of the tri-series against Australia and after 44 matches have scored 677 runs at a strike rate of 133.53 and averaging 25.07.
Further showcasing her skills Ghosh played for the Hobart Hurricanes in the 2021/22 WBBL season, her performance led to selection in India’s squad for the 2022 Women’s Cricket World Cup in New Zealand highlighting her growing stature in the cricketing world.
In the domestic circuit, Ghosh attracted attention when she was signed by Royal Challengers Bangalore for 1.90 crores for the 2023 WPL season scoring 138 runs in 7 innings at a strike rate of 135.29.
Her consistent performances earned her a spot in India’s squad for their series against Australia in December 2023 subsequently she made her women’s test debut for India on 21 December 2023 marking another milestone in her promising career.
