Sneha Deepthi, the right-handed batter from Andhra Pradesh, was acquired by the Delhi Capitals ahead of the inaugural WPL auction. Sneha has been one of the most consistent batters for her domestic side having back-to-back impressive seasons.
In the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy 2022, Sneha scored 133 runs at an impressive strike rate of 120.90, and in the Senior Women’s Inter-Zonal T20 Trophy 2022, she scored 114 runs in just 5 games. In the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy 2023, Sneha scored 154 runs in just 7 games at a strike rate of 138.7.
She is yet to make her WPL debut, she will be hoping a chance comes her way this season and she capitalizes on the chance she gets. This season of the WPL again will be a great learning experience for Sneha and she will carry all that she learns to her domestic side.
