Rajeshwari Gayakwad debuted her international T20 career on 25 January 2014 (cap 43) against Sri Lanka. Gayakwad played a crucial role in India’s journey to the final of the 2017 Women’s Cricket World Cup, she registered the best bowling figures for India in the history of the Women’s Cricket World Cup, claiming an impressive 5 wickets for just 15 runs.
In her T20I career, she has claimed 61 wickets in 55 innings at an average of 19.13 and an economy of 6.15, With the best figures of 3 wickets by giving 9 runs against South Africa on 23 March 2021 in Lucknow. In the Senior Women’s T20, she took 6 wickets in 5 matches at an average of 14.50 and an economy of 4.87 displaying her experience and effectiveness.
She showcased her skill with 7 wickets in 8 innings in last year’s WPL 2023 matches.
