Bio:
Pooja Vastrakar made her debut for the India Women’s side in February 2018. Since her debut, the allrounder has made many match-winning contributions on the international level. Her skills with the ball in hand and big-hitting ability with the bat allow the team the luxury of playing an additional bowler.
Since her debut against South Africa in 2018, Pooja has gone on to play 58 T20Is for the national side. She has made crucial contributions, having 40 wickets at an average of 22.77 and 305 to her name.
In an injury-affected season, Pooja played 7 games for the Mumbai Indians in the last edition. By her standards she had a really poor season, having scored only 71 runs with the bat and claiming only 2 wickets. She will be hoping to improve her performance from last season and make important contributions to the side.
