Shabnim Ismail first made her international debut for the South African Women’s side in 2007 and ever since has emerged as their highest wicket-taker across formats. With 191 wickets in 127 WODIs and 123 wickets in 113 WT20Is, she is not only a legend of South African cricket but also a stalwart of the women’s game.
Having played around the globe in several T20 tournaments including flagship tournaments like the WBBL (Australia) and The Hundred (England). Her addition to the Mumbai Indians squad makes them one of the most enviable lineups of the tournament.
Having played only 3 games for the UP Warriorz in the previous edition of the WPL, the South African pacer will be rearing to have a go this season and light up yet another tournament.
