The 31-year-old occasional wicket-keeper batter Shemaine Campbelle hailing from Berbice, Guyana, made her international debut on 21st October 2009 in an ODI against South Africa. In the format to date, she has scored 1586 runs at a strike rate of 57.15 in 99 innings (114 matches).
Her tally of runs includes four half-centuries and a century. Her best performance with the bat in the ODIs came on 24th February 2013 against Sri Lanka in Dambulla when she scored 105 off 138 balls in the 2nd ODI of the series. Apart from her exploits with the bat, she has also picked up 21 wickets at an average of 35.85 and an economy of 3.53 in 38 innings. Her best performance with the ball in the format came on 22nd February 2013 against Sri Lanka at Dambulla. She returned with match figures (5-0-13-2) with the ball.

Shemaine made her T20I debut on 25th October 2009 against South Africa at the Boland Bank Park, Paarl. She has scored 1282 runs in 105 innings (135 innings) and registered the highest of 47 against India on 23rd January 2023. Apart from her exploits with the bat, she has also picked up 34 wickets at an average of 19.88 and an economy of 5.11 in 44 innings.
She has scored 19 runs in a couple of innings with the bat and also kept the wickets for her side in the ongoing 9th edition of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 in the United Arab Emirates. West Indies’ 3rd game of their campaign against Bangladesh led by skipper Nigar Sultana Joty on 10th October 2024 marked her 250th international appearance for the West Indies.
