England led by skipper Heather Knight was up against Bangladesh led by skipper Nigar Sultana Joty in the 6th match of the tournament. England skipper Heather Knight won the toss and opted to bat first. The England openers, Danielle Wyatt-Hodge and Maia Bouchier got their side off to a solid start with a 48-run opening partnership. Rabeya Khan picked up the wicket of Maia Bouchier to provide the first breakthrough for Bangladesh.

Nat Sciver-Brunt soon followed her back to the pavilion to provide the 2nd breakthrough for Bangladesh. Skipper Heather Knight joined D Wyatt-Hodge at the crease and the duo stitched a much-needed 20-run partnership for the 3rd wicket to take their side close to the 100-run mark. Ritu Moni cleaned up the opposition skipper Heather Knight to provide the 3rd breakthrough for her side.

England eventually ended up with a total of 118/7 in their quota of overs. D Wyatt-Hodge (41 off 40 balls), Maia Bouchier (23 off 18 balls), and wicket-keeper batter Amy Jones (12* off 16 balls) were the top performers with the bat for England. Fahima Khatun (4-0-18-2), Ritu Moni (4-0-24-2), Rabeya Khan (4-0-15-1), and Nahida Akter (4-0-32-2) were the top performers with the ball for Bangladesh.

Chasing a target of 119, the Bangladesh openers, Shathi Rani and Dilara Akter got their side off to a steady start with a 16-run opening partnership. Charlie Dean picked up the wicket of Dilara Akter to provide the first breakthrough for England. Shathi Rani soon followed her back to the pavilion to provide the 2nd breakthrough for England.

Skipper Nigar Sultana Joty joined Sobhana Mostary at the crease and the duo stitched a much-needed 35-run partnership for the 3rd wicket to take their side past the 50-run mark. Skipper Nigar Sultana Joty was found short of her crease to provide the 3rd breakthrough for England. Shorna Akter soon followed her back to the pavilion to provide the 4th breakthrough for England.

Taj Nehar joined Sobhana Mostary at the crease and the duo stitched a much-needed 25-run partnership for the 5th wicket to keep their side in the hunt in the run chase. Linsey Smith cleaned up Taj Nehar to provide the 5th breakthrough for her side. Bangladesh was eventually restricted to 97/7 in their quota of 20 overs, as a result, falling short of the target by 21 runs.

Sobhana Mostary (44 off 48 balls), and skipper Nigar Sultana Joty (15 off 20 balls), were the top performers with the bat for Bangladesh. L Smith (4-1-11-2), Charlie Dean (4-0-22-2), Nat Sciver-Brunt (4-0-20-1), and Sarah Glenn (4-0-22-1) were the top performers with the ball for England.

Danielle Wyatt-Hodge was awarded the Player of the Match for her crucial innings (41 off 40 balls) with the bat for her side in tricky conditions.
