Top Performers:

Summary:
An all-round performance from Irish skipper made Ireland win their second match of the tournament at Dundee on Sunday.
Delaney on winning the toss opted to bat. Ireland did not have a good start as both the openers lost their wickets in quick time. Even the experienced Waldron got out soon, they were struggling at 31 for 3 in 9 overs, it was the partnership of 53 from Laura Delany and Kim Garth helped Ireland to set an average target of 121. Kim Garth with her 39 was the highest scorer of the team. Caroline de Lange picked two wickets for the Netherlands.
Chasing the target, the Netherlands lost the wicket of Siegers after hitting a six, on the other side her partner kept playing Kallis playing sensibly. Sadly, no other batters helped her with the partnership, all credits to Richardson and Delany who bowled an excellent spell of spin bowling that made the Netherlands lose the match by 19 runs.
This is the second win for Ireland and it is the second loss for the Netherlands team. Hope, they come back stronger in their next match.
Brief Score: Ireland 120 for 6 ( Garth 39, Caroline de large 2 for 28) defeated the Netherlands 101 for 5 (Kallis 46, Delany 2 for 17) by 19 runs.
