Bangladesh Women leave for conditioning camp in Netherlands

Bangladesh’s national women’s cricket team left for a ten-day training camp in the Netherlands on August 15. This conditioning camp is a part of their preparations for the upcoming Women’s T20 World Cup qualifiers in Scotland.

Bangladesh Women will play four practice matches in the camp including two against Thailand Women, one against Netherlands Womens and one Netherlands under-17 men’s team.

The Bangladeshi team will leave for Scotland on 27th of August and play a warm-up match against Netherlands Women on 29th August. They will begin their qualifier campaign against Papua New Guinea on 31st August.
Bangladesh Women are placed along-with Papua New Guinea, Scotland and USA in Group A while Group B comprises of Ireland Women, Thailand Women, Namibia Women and Netherlands Women.

The tournament will decide two qualifiers for the 2020 ICC women’s T20 World Cup in Australia, scheduled to be held from February 21 to March 8.
