Following the inaugural edition in 2022, the Women’s Pacific Cup is back, promising a bigger and better second edition in Auckland, New Zealand, from the 17th to the 21st of January 2024. For a detailed look at the 6-team competition, including information on format, broadcasting, squads, and schedule, here’s all you need to know.

The upcoming edition will feature the women’s national teams of Cook Islands, Fiji, defending champions Papua New Guinea, Samoa, and Vanuatu, alongside the first-ever Aotearoa (New Zealand) Māori team. Both Cook Islands and Aotearoa Māori will be making their debut appearances in the 02 Women’s Pacific Cup tournament. Note, that all games, except those featuring Aotearoa Māori, will carry international status.

Format: Women’s T20 Pacific Cup 2024

The tournament will follow a round-robin format, where each team plays against the other once in league games. Following the league stage, the top two seeded teams will advance to the final, while the 3rd and 4th seeded teams will contest in the 3rd place playoff and the 5th and 6th seeded teams in the 5th place playoff.
