Amelia Kerr: 

The captain of Wellington Blaze made useful contributions with bat and ball in her last outing against Canterbury Magicians. Batting at number four, the right-hander muscled 38 off 35, including five boundaries. She claimed 30/1 in four overs, bowling right-arm leg-spin.

Rebecca Burns: 

The right-handed top-order batter of Wellington Blaze was the most successful batter for her team in the last game against Canterbury Magicians. She hammered 40 off 28, peppering the boundary rope seven times. In the process, she stitched a 55-run partnership with Amelia Kerr for the third wicket.

Sam Barriball: 

The right-handed middle-order batter of Northern Brave struck a delightful half-century in the last fixture against Central Hinds. Batting at number four, she blasted five boundaries and two sixes in her entertaining knock. She came into bat in the fifth over and was there till the 19th over of the innings.

Amanda-Jade Wellington: 

The wily right-arm leg-spinner from Australia was the pick of the bowlers for Northern Brave in her last appearance against Central Hinds. She scalped 29/3 in four overs, including a double strike in the 19th over. She bowled well in the middle and death overs.

Pitch

It will be the second game of the tournament at the venue. The last match saw 273 runs being scored. 13 wickets fell in the process. Though the wicket looks good for batting, a thick cloudy cover may assist the fast bowlers. A riveting battle between the bat and the ball could be on the cards.
