While Delhi Capitals made their way straight into the final after topping the table in the league stage, Mumbai Indians defeated UP Warriorz in the Eliminator to set a final date with the Capitals. These two teams have played two matches against each other in the league. Mumbai Indians won the first match by eight wickets, whereas Delhi Capitals won the second by nine wickets.

Natalie Sciver-Brunt: 

The star all-rounder of Mumbai Indians won the player of the match award in her last outing against UP Warriorz. The right-handed top-order batter muscled an unbeaten 72 off 38 and then claimed 1/21 in three overs. She powered her team to a massive score of 182 in 20 overs.

Issy Wong: 

The right-arm speedster of Mumbai Indians picked the first hat-trick of this WPL and the first hat-trick for the franchise when she scalped 4/15 in her last match against UP Warriorz. She hit the right straps consistently and yielded rich dividends. Besides her bowling, she can be a handy lower-middle-order batter.

Alice Capsey: 

The dashing all-rounder of Delhi Capitals bagged the player of the match award in her last fixture against UP Warriorz. The right-handed middle-order batter scored a useful 34 off 31 and accounted for 3/26 in four overs bowling off-spin.

Meg Lanning:

The captain of Delhi Capitals top-scored in her last appearance against UP Warriorz. She smashed 39 off 23, including five boundaries and two sixes. She is also the leading run-scorer of this WPL and would be looking to finish the competition on a high.

It will be the 11th and last match of the tournament at this venue. The teams batting first have won four, and the teams batting second have won six. Expect batting-friendly conditions. A high-scoring contest could be on the cards, with both teams having incredible batting firepower.
