East Delhi Riders Women produced a composed all-round performance to defeat Central Delhi Queens by 19 runs in a closely contested Women’s Delhi Premier League (WDPL) 2026. The game had plenty of momentum swings, with East Delhi Riders Women building a strong platform with the bat before Central Delhi Queens fought hard during the chase. The eventual result saw East Delhi Riders Women finish on 174/2 in their 20 overs, while Central Delhi Queens managed 155/7.
The 19-run margin reflected a contest in which the chasing side never completely gave up, but East Delhi Riders Women’s timely wickets and disciplined bowling ultimately kept them ahead. Saachi provided support with 17 from 21 balls, including two fours, before her innings came to an end. The East Delhi Riders Women bowlers played an equally important role in defending the total. Purva Siwach was the pick of the attack, delivering four overs for 24 runs and claiming four wickets at an excellent economy rate of 6.00. Her spell created consistent pressure and prevented Central Delhi Queens from maintaining the scoring momentum generated by Deeksha. Bharti Rawal also made a significant contribution, taking two wickets in her four overs while conceding 33 runs.
Parunika Sisodia completed three overs for 29 runs without a wicket, while Tamanna Singh bowled two overs for 16 runs without taking a wicket. Simran Dil Bahadur, who had already made a match-defining 60 with the bat, also contributed with the ball, taking one wicket for 23 runs from her four overs.
