Nida Dar:
The star Pakistani all-rounder contributed with both bat and ball in her last outing against New Zealand which was a warm-up match. With the ball, the right arm off-spinner picked up 1-18 in her six overs and with the bat, the middle order batter top scored with 54 runs off 59 balls. She led the run chase and helped Pakistan win the match by four wickets.
Nashra Sandhu:
The left-arm spinner of Pakistan wreaked havoc with the ball as she scalped 4-32 in her 10 overs against New Zealand in a warm-up match. The wily spinner bowled disciplined lines and lengths to keep the White Ferns’ batters at bay.
Sharmin Akhter:
The right handed top-order batter of Bangladesh top scored with 81 runs off 137 balls in her last outing against England during a warm-up match. She was the lone fighter in the team as she was the only one to score a half-century.
Nahida Akter:
The left arm spinner of Bangladesh was the pick of the bowlers as she scalped 3-49 in her 10 overs against England in a warm-up match. She came in to bowl as the first change. She bowled well in the middle overs and provided Bangladesh with the required breakthroughs.
Pitch
The venue seems to offer a good contest between bat and ball. In the last match that was played here, more than 500 runs were scored. The bowlers will have to pitch in the right areas on a consistent basis and make use of the conditions to yield results.
