As the year went by we saw some prolific performances and made a note of it so that it could be recalled at the end of the year. Such performances are mentioned below as we list down the top 5 run-scorers in ODI cricket for the year 2019.

The West Indian captain Stephany Taylor played the perfect leader role as she performed exceedingly well in 11 innings scoring 472 runs at an avg of 47.20. The Australian skipper Meg Lanning has to lead the Aussies with finesse scoring 477 runs in 11 innings at an avg of 53.00 as her side continues to be a dominant force in world cricket. She has also been inducted into the ICC ODI team of the year 2019 as the captain of the team and continues to impress one an all with her leadership skills.

# 3 Natalie Sciver (England)

The dynamic Nat Sciver is England’s most lethal all-rounder and packs a punch every time she sets foot on a cricket field. Amassing 479 runs in 12 innings at an average of 43.54, Nat Sciver has been outstanding for England this year. Her all-round abilities do make her a prominent starter in every match and is an impact player whatever the conditions may be.

With 669 runs in 12 innings, Alyssa is the most feared wicketkeeper batswoman across formats and her wicket-keeping skills are of the highest quality as well.
