First-ever 5-fer in T20I: [Amy Satterthwaite (New Zealand):- (6/17) Vs ENG, 2007]

The first on the list is the former New Zealand all-rounder Amy Satterthwaite. She etched her name in the history books as she became the first player to pick a five-wicket haul in the T20I format. She achieved the remarkable feat in a bilateral series against England in the 3rd T20I on 16th August 2007. She returned with exceptional match figures (4-0-17-6) in her spell, earning her the Player of the Match award. New Zealand eventually clinched the game by 38 runs while defending a target of 151.

First-ever 5-fer in ODI: [Tina Macpherson (Australia):- (5/14) Vs Y.ENG, 1973]

Next on the list is former Australian pacer Tina Macpherson. She etched her name into the history books as she became the first bowler to pick a five-wicket haul in the history of One Day International format. She achieved the remarkable milestone on 23rd June 1973 against Young England Women in the ICC Women’s World Cup (60 overs per side). She returned with sensational match figures (12-7-14-5) in her spell.

Her spell played a crucial role in steam-rolling Young England Women for just 57. Australia eventually sealed the game with seven wickets in hand and 234 balls to spare.

First-ever 5-fer in Test: [Myrtle Maclagan (England):- (7/10) Vs AUS, 1934]

Next on the list is the former England all-rounder Myrtle Ethel Maclagan. She was regarded as one of the best players to have played the sport during her playing days. She achieved the remarkable landmark of becoming the first-ever bowler to pick a five-wicket haul in the red-ball format. She achieved the milestone in the Test match of the three-match bilateral Test series between Australia and England.

She returned with exceptional match figures of (17-11-10-7) in her spell. Australia eventually ended up on the losing side as England sealed the game by nine wickets.

First-ever 10-fer in Test: [Betty Wilson (Australia):- (4/37, 6/28) Vs NZ, 1948]

The next on the list is the former Australian all-rounder Betty Wilson. She achieved the remarkable milestone of becoming the first-ever bowler to pick up 10 wickets in a red-ball Test match. She achieved the sensational landmark in the one-off Test match against New Zealand in Wellington in March (20-23) in 1948. She returned with match figures (26-9-37-4) in her spell in the first innings.

She went on to leave a further impact as she returned with another sensational spell (14-5-28-6) with the ball in the fourth innings of the Test match. She played a crucial role in helping Australia clinch a thumping victory by an innings and 102 runs.

First-ever hat trick in T20I: [Asmavia Iqbal (Pakistan):- Vs ENG, 2012]

Next on the list is the former Pakistan pace-bowling all-rounder Asmavia Iqbal. She scripted history by becoming the first-ever bowler to pick a hat trick in the T20I format. She achieved the remarkable milestone on 5th September 2012 in the 2nd T20I against England at Loughborough. She returned with brilliant match figures (4-0-36-4) in her spell, which also included a hattrick.

Her three victims included the wickets of their former wicket-keeper batter Sarah Taylor, Arran Brindle, and Danielle Wyatt. England eventually managed to seal the game by a massive 81-run margin.

A first-ever hat-trick in ODI: [Carole Hodges (England):- Vs DNK, 1993]

The next on the list is the former England all-rounder Carole Ann Hodges. She etched her name in the history books by becoming the first-ever bowler to pick up a hat trick in the One Day International format. She managed to achieve the remarkable milestone on 20th July 1993 in an ICC Women’s World Cup against Denmark. She returned with exceptional match figures (4.5-2-3-4) in her spell which included a hat-trick.

Her victims included Trine Christiansen, Susanne Nielsen, and Pia Thomsen. She played a crucial role in helping her side seal a thrashing 239-run victory against Denmark.

Next on the list is the former Australian all-rounder Betty Wilson. Apart from becoming the first-ever bowler to pick up 10 wickets in a red-ball Test match against New Zealand in Wellington in March 1948. She also became the first-ever bowler to pick a hat-trick in the red-ball format. She achieved the remarkable landmark in the 2nd Test Match of the four-match Test series against England in February 1958. The four-match Test series eventually ended in a draw.

First-ever double hat trick: [Thipatcha Putthawong (Thailand):- Vs NETH, 2023]

The next in the list is the 20-year-old young sensation, a left-arm spinner Thipatcha Putthawong from Thailand. She has managed to achieve one of the rarest of achievements in cricket as she became the first-ever bowler to complete a double hat-trick in women’s cricket. A double hat-trick is an instance when a bowler picks four wickets in four balls. She achieved the milestone in the T20I format against the Netherlands on 14th July 2023.

Her victims included Phebe Molkenboer, Mikkie Zwilling, Hannah Landheer, and Caroline de Lange. She ended up with exceptional match figures (3.5-0-8-5) in her spell. Thailand eventually sealed the game by eight wickets and 39 balls to spare. Thipatcha Putthawong was awarded the Player of the Match for her match-winning spell (3.5-0-8-5) with the ball.

First-ever wicket on debut Ball in ODIs: [Amanda-Jade Wellington (Australia):- Vs SA, 2016]

The next on the list is the 27-year-old leg-spinner from Australia Amanda-Jade Wellington. She has managed to achieve a record that very few might be able to achieve. She became the first-ever player to pick a wicket on the first ball of her ODI career. That also happened to be her international debut on 27th November 2016 in the 4th match of the bilateral ODI series against South Africa.

She picked up the wicket of Mignon du Preez in the 12th over of the innings.

First-ever wicket on debut Ball in T20Is: [Chloe Tryon (South Africa):- Vs WI, 2010]

The next on the list is the 30-year-old South African spin-bowling all-rounder Chloe Tryon. Much like Australia’s 27-year-old leg-spinner Amanda-Jade Wellington, the 30-year-old South African all-rounder Chloe Tryon has also achieved a unique feat in the T20I format. She became the first-ever player to pick a wicket on the first ball of her T20I career against the West Indies on 5th May 2010 at Warner Park, Basseterre, in St Kitts in the 1st Match of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup hosted by the West Indies.

The former West Indian skipper Stafanie Taylor was her maiden victim in the T20I format.
