India across all formats see Mithali Raj lead the highest individual score chart with her 214 that she got to as a 19-year-old in a Test match against England. India in the shortest, T20I format have Harmanpreet Kaur with her score of 103 lead the chart.

This might take many by surprise that it is not Harmanpreet Kaur’s 171* which is the highest One-day International (ODI) score by an Indian infact Deepti Sharma’s 188 that’d come in 2017 against Ireland tops the chart. 1. Deepti Sharma 188(160) vs Ireland

In 2017, while playing against Ireland in the Quadrangular Series, in Potchefstroom (South Africa) 19-year-old, Deepti Sharma came out to open the innings for India. She got to the milestone in 160 deliveries which saw her gap 27 boundaries and smash a couple of sixes. Her opening partner Poonam Raut scored 109 off 116 deliveries before being retired out and it brought an end to a record-breaking 320-run stand. India closed out on 358/3 and won the contest by 249 runs bowling Ireland out for 109.

2. Harmanpreet Kaur 171*(115) vs Australia

Power hitter, Harmanpreet Kaur put all her powers on display against Australia in the 2017 World Cup semi-final and saw Harmanpreet Kaur bail the team out of trouble in a fashion that not many expected. The 115-ball-171* saw Harmanpreet gap as many as 20 away to the fence and got 7 over the fence powering India to finish on a total of 281/4 and bowled Australia out for 245 to win by 36 runs and there was the start to a new rivalry which now is very rich as many more chapters have been added in contests between Australia and India.

3. Jaya Sharma 138*(150) vs Pakistan

The first female recipient of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Player of the Year award in 2007, Jaya Sharma when toured Pakistan in 2005-06 for the Asia Cup. Opener, Jaya struck 15 boundaries in the innings and got to her personal best score of 138*(150) against Pakistan powered India to close out on 289/2 and then bowled Pakistan out for 96 and won the contest by 193 runs.

4. Smriti Mandhana 135(129) vs South Africa

The elegant opener, Smriti Mandhana in the sides 2nd ODI against South Africa in 2018 provided India with a perfect outing. Smriti in the outing smashed the Proteas all around the park and scored 135 off just 129 balls which had her strike as many as 14 fours and a solitary six. Her knock helped India post 302 on board and then in 30.5 overs of bowling innings knocked South Africa out for 124 and registered the win by 178 runs.

5. Mithali Raj 125*(143) vs Sri Lanka

Mithali Raj found herself in the middle of the 3rd ball as Jemimah walked back for a two-ball duck. On a hard-to-score pitch, Mithali stitched partnerships with Smriti Mandhana and Deepti Sharma. Mithali Raj’s knock of 125* which saw her gap 14 boundaries and strike a maximum helped India post 253 on board. Sri Lanka in reply had skipper Chamari Athapaththu smash a century which got her side to chase down the required with 3 wickets and a ball to spare.
