1. Anjali Chand (Nepal)

Nepali all-rounder Anjali Chand sits on top of the list for best bowling figures inT20 after her obliteration of the Maldives team. Chand managed to take 6 wickets in merely 2.1 overs and conceded no runs in her spell. Chand also managed to take a hat-trick in this game which resulted in the Maldives team getting all out for just 17 runs.

2. Mas Elysa (Malaysia)

Malaysian Mas Elysa ranks second for the best bowling figures in T20 history, with her noteworthy show against China in the T20 smash match. Elysa managed to take 6 wickets in 4 over and only yielding 3 runs and won the match for Malaysia. This spell against China put the Malaysian women’s team on the cricketing map. Before this spell, cricket in Malaysia was not recognized as much as other sports.

3. Botsogo Mpedi (Botswana)

Botswana’s bowler Botsogo Mpedi claimed figures of 6/3 on her T20I debut against Lesotho, helping her win the third spot on the best figures in T20 history. Mpedi took 6 wickets in 3 overs and only conceded only 8 runs. Mpedi’s brilliant spell led Botswana to win the match by a conclusive 124 runs. Mpedi beat Amy Satterthwaite’s long-standing record for best figures until Mas Elysa broke her record

4. Nary Thapa (Nepal)

Fourth on the list, we have Nary Thapa, the left arm Nepali bowler. Thapa achieved this accolade when she devastated the Hong Kong team in the ICC T20 Qualifier match with her six wickets in 4 overs. Her spell led to Hong Kong getting bowled out for only 62 runs, which Nepal chased down and convincingly won the game.

5. Zon Lin (Myanmar)

Lastly, we have Myanmar’s right-arm medium pacer, Zon Lin. Lin sits on the fifth position for the best bowling figures in women’s T20 after her impressive performance against Indonesia in the T20 smash match. Lin took 6 wickets in her 4 overs bowled while allowing only 10 runs to the Indonesian team. Even though Lin took 6 out of the 8 wickets taken, it was not enough to lead Myanmar to victory. Lin was awarded the player of the match despite the fact that her team lost the match by 52 runs
