Barbados Tridents Women began their innings with Qiana Joseph and captain Hayley Matthews opening the batting. The pair added 20 runs for the first wicket before Joseph was caught by Nadine de Klerk off Shamilia Connell for 15 runs off 14 balls (2 fours, 1 six) in the 4th over. Kiran Navgire then joined Matthews, and together they stabilized the innings with a brilliant 63-run partnership for the second wicket.
Matthews struck a masterful 50 off 37 deliveries, featuring 4 boundary hits and 4 maximums, before offering a return catch to Sheneta Grimmond at 83/2 in 10.6 overs. Suzie Bates held firm at one end with a quickfire unbeaten 22 off 11 balls (2 fours, 1 six). Meanwhile, Pooja Vastrakar contributed 8 off 8 balls before being caught by Tazmin Brits off Burns at 134/6. Shawnisha Hector was run out for 4 runs off 3 balls at 144/7, leaving Afy Fletcher (1* off 1 ball) to finish the innings with Bates.
For Guyana Amazon Warriors, Sheneta Grimmond was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 3 for 28 in her 4 overs. Erin Burns chipped in with 2 for 19 in 3 overs, while Shamilia Connell took 1 for 25 in 4 overs. Shabnim Ismail bowled economically with 0 for 27 in 4 overs, Nadine de Klerk registered 0 for 26 in 2 overs, Ashmini Munisar conceded 18 in 2 overs, and Chloe Tryon gave away 15 in her single over.
Chasing a target of 159 runs, Guyana Amazon Warriors Women got off to a flying start. Openers Eboni Brathwaite and Tazmin Brits put together a solid 47-run opening partnership. Erin Burns joined Brits and built a steady 34-run stand before being stumped by Mandy Mangru off Afy Fletcher for 11 runs off 15 balls at 81/2. Brits continued to build the run-chase, anchoring the middle overs with a top-score of 46 off 41 balls (5 fours, 1 six) before Fletcher struck again, having her stumped at 111/3 in the 15th over.
Shemaine Campbelle and Nadine de Klerk then took charge, providing the decisive momentum with a crucial 25-run partnership. De Klerk smashed 20 off 13 balls (2 fours, 1 six) before being caught by Green off Hayley Matthews at 136/4.
Campbelle batted brilliantly for her 36 off 28 balls (4 fours) to bring her team within touching distance of victory before falling to Cherry-Ann Fraser at 152/5. Captain Chloe Tryon (2* off 2) and Realeanna Grimmond, who sealed the chase with a boundary-hitting 6* off just 1 ball, steered Guyana Amazon Warriors home with 6 balls remaining.
Among the Barbados Tridents bowlers, Afy Fletcher delivered a stellar spell of 2 for 23 in 4 overs. Hayley Matthews was highly economical with 1 for 22 in 4 overs. Qiana Joseph took 1 for 29 in 3 overs, while Cherry-Ann Fraser claimed 1 for 46 in 3 overs. Shawnisha Hector went wicketless with 0 for 10 in 2 overs, and Suzie Bates yielded 0 for 24 in 3 overs.
