Jonassen continues the magic with spin as Heat defeat Scorchers by 8 wickets.
Winning the toss, Heat asked Perth to bat. The in-form opening duo of Jones and Lanning failed as both were dismissed for 9 and 1 respectively.
No other batters spent time in the crease except Nat Sciver. The English all-rounder scored all-important 26 runs which helped the team to cross 100 runs. Later Barsby in the end with a quick cameo of 17 helped Scorchers to end on 112 for 8 in 20 overs.
For the heat, with the ball, it was Jonassen who bowled a match-winning spell of 4 for 23, she got good support from Johnson which stopped Scorchers from scoring above 120.
Chasing the target of 112, it was again Beth Mooney who scored another half-century, this time she scored unbeaten 60 runs in 44 balls. Though her opening partner Maddy Green got out early, she got good support from Jonassen, who was excellent with the bat too. Jonassen scored unbeaten 32 which helped them to chase the target in
Just 16.1 overs.
With the win, Heat are placed at the top of the table and Scorchers continue at the 4th spot.
