In reply to this humongous total, Ellyse Perry came back to haunt the Sydney Thunder women picking up two wickets upfront to dent the Run chase. Alex Blackwell scored fifty but in vain as Sydney Thunder fell short by 49 runs. Sarah Aley picked up three Wickets.
