In the ACC Women’s Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2023, a total of 8 teams participated, including India, Pakistan, Nepal, Hong Kong, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, UAE Women, and Malaysia Women. The inaugural edition of the tournament was hosted by Hong Kong. The final was played between India A and Bangladesh A, and India A Women won the title by 31 runs to lay their hands on the inaugural trophy.

As we welcome the next season of Women’s Emerging Teams Asia Cup, now renamed to Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars, let’s take a look at every team’s individual performances from the previous season.
Hong Kong Women
The Hong Kong Women had a terrible campaign in the inaugural edition of the tournament. They scored 2 points from the 3 games, with one loss and two games being abandoned. Their net run rate was at -5.425 at the end of the group stage. M Hill had finished as the highest run scorer for her side in the tournament with 14 runs from the one game they played. Chan Ka Man had finished as the leading wicket-taker for her side with a wicket in the tournament.
Malaysia Women
The Malaysia Women had finished at the bottom of the table of Group B. They scored 1 point from the 3 games, with one loss and two games being abandoned. Their net run rate was -3.969 at the end of the group stage. Mas Elysa had finished as the highest run scorer for her side with 19 runs from the two games they had played. Mahirah Ismail had finished as the leading wicket-taker for her side with 5 wickets from 2 innings.
Nepal Women
The Nepal Women had finished at the 3rd place in Group A. They scored 2 points from the 3 games, with one loss and two games being abandoned. Pakistan A Women
