This celebration has also been seen in the Indian Premier League (IPL), with players like Ravindra Jadeja and Obed McCoy adopting it.

In the last match of Group B at the Women’s World Cup between India and Nepal, Magar took Shafali Verma’s wicket in the 16th over, completed by Kajal Shrestha’s stumping. Magar then performed the famous “Pushpa” celebration in front of Verma before celebrating with her teammates. Earlier in the match, Magar also dismissed Dayalan Hemalatha and contributed 18 runs while batting. Despite this impressive performance, Nepal lost the match. However, Magar demonstrated her all-round skills, creating some challenges for India.
