Rayalaaeema Xen Stars was set into bat first, opening their innings with Vemulapati Setu Sai and Kolathur Subhasri. The duo laid down a solid foundation for the innings, accumulating an opening stand of 41 runs before Subhasri was run out for 15 off 18 balls by Hamsa and Devika. Unfazed by the fall of wickets, Padmaja went on a tearing rampage, scoring an unbeaten 61 off just 29 balls with 8 boundaries and 1 maximum.
