Georgina Dempsey, an Irish cricketer, shines both for the Typhoons and the Ireland national team. Her journey began in the Women’s Twenty20 International against Scotland in May 2021. In August of the same year, while playing for Phoenix Cricket Club, she stunned with an unbeaten 139 runs from just 68 deliveries, setting a record for the highest individual score in Ireland Women’s Senior T20 cricket. Her skills earned her a spot in Ireland’s Women’s One Day International (WODI) squad for the series against Zimbabwe in September 2021, where she made her WODI debut. She further showcased her talent in the 2021 Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier tournament in Zimbabwe later that year.
