Annabel Sutherland’s cricketing journey began with her international debut in February 2020. In the domestic circuit, she represents Victoria in the Women’s National Cricket League (WNCL).
Internationally, across all three formats, she has achieved one four-wicket haul, three centuries, and two half-centuries.
In T20 Internationals, Sutherland made her debut on February 1, 2020, against England during the Australia Tri-Nation Women’s T20 Series at Canberra. As of 2024, she has taken over 15 wickets and scored more than 110 runs in T20Is.
In One Day Internationals, she debuted on October 3, 2020, against New Zealand during their tour of Australia at Brisbane. In this impressive debut, she took one wicket. As of June 2024, she has taken over 25 wickets and scored more than 460 runs in ODIs.
In Tests, Sutherland made her debut on September 30, 2021, against India during their tour of Australia at Carrara. As of June 2024, she has taken over 10 wickets and scored more than 420 runs in Tests.
In franchise cricket, Sutherland made her debut for the Melbourne Renegades at just 15 years old, becoming the youngest player to feature in the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) at that time. As of 2024, she currently plays for the Melbourne Stars in WBBL, Welsh Fire in The Hundred, and Gujarat Giants in the Women’s Premier League (WPL).
