Bio:

Nensi Patel played cricket throughout her school days and represented her region at all age group levels before making her debut for Northern Districts during the 2021/22 season. Patel performed exceptionally well during her debut season and was awarded the Northern Districts Young Female Cricketer of the Year and Hallyburton Johnston Player of the Year.

Nensi made the decision to stop seam bowling and become an off-spinner after an ACL reconstruction surgery. Her decision to change her bowling style highlights how determined Nensi is to become a successful cricketer.

A powerful batter and crafty off-spin bowler, Patel has become a key player in the young Northern Districts team. Her performances for Northern Districts earned her first New Zealand central contract for the 2022/23 season.
