Kate Anderson is a right-handed middle-order batter who made her T20 International debut on October 8, 2023, against South Africa during the New Zealand women’s tour of South Africa in East London. She opened the innings for New Zealand but unfortunately got run out for 19 runs. Thus far, she has not had the chance to play an ODI match.
Anderson received her maiden call-up to be part of the New Zealand squad for the series against Australia after Sophie Devine was ruled out. However, she did not get an opportunity to play in that series. Kate has had limited experience playing in domestic leagues, as she is currently only part of the Canterbury women’s team.
