Bio:
Georgia Plimmer is one of the brightest talents from the New Zealand team currently playing in the squad. She made her T20 International debut on August 6, 2022, against Australia during the Commonwealth Games Women’s Cricket Competition in Birmingham. After that, she made her ODI debut on September 25, 2022, against the West Indies in an away series in North Sounds.
She made her List A debut for Wellington in the 2019-20 Hallyburton Johnstone Shield and then debuted for Wellington in the 2020-21 season of the T20 Super Smash. In December 2022, she was selected in the New Zealand Under-19 squad for the 2023 ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup. In that tournament, with 155 runs at an average of 51.66, Plimmer was the leading run-scorer. She was named in New Zealand’s squad for the 2022 Women’s Cricket World Cup as a replacement for the injured Lauren Down and then made her way into the central contract list of the New Zealand team for the 2022-23 season.
Plimmer does not have much experience playing in different domestic leagues; she has represented only the Wellington Women.
