Bio:

The 27-year-old bowling all-rounder from Zimbabwe made her international debut on 28th August 2021 in a T20I against Thailand. She has picked up 34 wickets at a strike rate of 18.8, an average of 16.35, with an economy of 5.19 in 32 innings with the ball for her side. Her best performance with the ball came on 16th September 2021 when she returned with exceptional match figures (4-1-11-4) in her spell against Rwanda in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Africa Region Qualifier.

She played a pivotal role in helping her side clinch a comprehensive 52-run victory. She was awarded the Player of the Match for her match-winning spell with the ball. Apart from her exploits with the ball, she has scored 88 runs, at a strike rate of 88.88 in 14 innings. Her best performance with the bat came on 30th January 2024 when she scored 25 runs at a strike rate of 80.64 against Ireland in the 3rd T20I of the bilateral series.

She made her ODI debut on 5th October 2021 against Ireland. Her best performance with the ball in the ODI format for Zimbabwe came on 23rd January 2024 when she returned with brilliant match figures (9-0-27-2) in her spell against Ireland in the 3rd ODI of the bilateral series.

Apart from her exploits with the ball, she has also scored 69 runs at a strike rate of 35.02 in 13 innings so far. Her best performance with the bat in the ODI format for Zimbabwe came on 23rd April 2023 when she scored an unbeaten 32 runs at a strike rate of 50.79 against Thailand in the 3rd ODI of the bilateral series on their tour to Thailand.

She was also a part of Zimbabwe’s squad for their series against Ireland in October 2021, marking their maiden ODI series after gaining ODI status from the ICC in April 2021.
