Bio:

The 41-year-old veteran medium pacer from Zimbabwe made her international debut on 5th January 2019 in a T20I against Namibia. She has picked up 56 wickets at a strike rate of 20.8, an average of 13.64, and an impressive economy of 3.92 in 56 innings. Her tally of wickets includes one four-wicket haul and one five-wicket haul so far.

Her best performance with the ball for Zimbabwe in the T20I format came on 17th December 2023 when she returned with exceptional match figures (4-1-7-5) in her spell against Uganda in the final of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Africa Region Qualifier. She was awarded the Player of the Match for her match-winning performance with the ball for her side. She played a pivotal role in dismantling the Uganda batting lineup. Zimbabwe eventually clinched the game by 6 wickets and 32 balls to spare.

Apart from her exploits with the ball, she has also been a handy contributor with the bat lower down the order for Zimbabwe. She has scored 231 runs at a strike rate of 88.50 and an average of 12.83 in 32 innings. Her best performance with the bat for Zimbabwe in the T20I format came on 17th September 2021 when she scored 40 runs at a humongous strike rate of 160 against Uganda in the 1st semi-final of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Africa Region Qualifier. She was also awarded the Player of the Match for her brilliant all-round performance, (40 off 25 balls) with the bat and returning with exceptional match-figures (4-0-8-1) with the ball.

She made her ODI debut on 5th October 2021 against Ireland. Her best performance with the ball in the ODI format came on 23rd January 2024 when she returned with impressive match figures (10-1-35-2) against Ireland.

Her best performance with the bat so far for Zimbabwe in the ODI format came on 18th January 2024 when she scored 29 runs at a strike rate of 78.37 against Ireland.
