Geetika Kodali’s cricketing journey is a testament to her passion, talent, and dedication to the sport. Hailing from the United States, she burst onto the international scene at a remarkably young age, making her senior debut at just fourteen years old in May 2019. However, her cricketing journey began even earlier, as she started playing the game at the age of eleven, demonstrating a natural flair and love for cricket from a young age.
In domestic competitions, Kodali showcased her talent representing esteemed cricketing associations such as the San Ramon Cricket Association and the Triangle Cricket League. Her performances caught the eye of selectors, earning her contracts with prestigious teams like the South Coast Sapphires for the 2022 FairBreak Invitational T20 and the Trinbago Knight Riders for The sixty and Women’s Caribbean Premier League in 2022.
On the international front, Kodali’s rise continued as she made her mark in Women’s Twenty20 International (WT20I) cricket for the United States women’s cricket team.
