Fans need to support Women’s T20 World Cup 2020 says Sachin Tendulkar

ICC Women’s T20 World Cup is going to be held this month in Australia in less than 15 days. Starting from 21st February, the final scheduled to be played at 8th march on the eve of International Women’s Day is also hyped to be the most successful women’s sporting event worldwide.

Cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar has also come in support of the big ICC Tournament and urges fans to support, to come at the final and make it an event to remember.

MCG holds the capacity over 1 Lakh, full house in that stadium could break records for the highest attendance for a women’s sports event which is currently 90,185 set at the 1999 FIFA Women’s World Cup final in Pasadena, California. Global pop star Katy Perry would be performing ‘Roar’ at the finals of the women T20 World Cup on 8th March, which also coincides with International Women’s day. Hopefully with the presence of such great icons like Katy Perry, would help to break the record and fuel women’s cricket.

Women’s cricket is growing immensely for 5 years but such impactful events help the sports bloom even faster and spread worldwide.
